Vendredi 7 octobre, l’Observatoire de l’énergie solaire photovoltaïque en France a publié les résultats du second trimestre 2016. Malgré la baisse des raccordements au cours de cette période, les producteurs d’énergie solaire misent sur un rebond en 2017.
En France, l’énergie solaire représente, pour l’instant, une part assez faible du mix énergétique. Pourtant, l’arrêté du 24 avril 2016 relatif aux objectifs de développement des énergies renouvelables prévoit une puissance installée comprise entre 18 200 et 20 200 MW en 2023. Afin de financer les investissements nécessaires, le sénateur écologiste Ronan Dantec compte notamment sur « la montée en puissance de la contribution carbone » qui rapporterait « entre 1 et 1,5 milliard de plus chaque année ».
Toutefois, malgré l’ambition de la loi relative à la transition énergétique pour une croissance verte, les chiffres publiés par l’Observatoire de l’énergie solaire photovoltaïque au 2nd trimestre 2016 restent assez faibles. En effet, on constate une baisse généralisée des raccordements de nouvelles installations, avec seulement 158 mégawatt-crêtes (MWc). Le niveau est non seulement en baisse par rapport au 1er trimestre, mais il est également inférieur au 2ème trimestre 2015.
De plus, l’Observatoire se montre également pessimiste pour le 3ème trimestre, sauf pour les grandes installations. En revanche, le journaliste au Figaro Frédéric De Monicault rappelle que « les producteurs d’énergie solaire misent sur un rebond en 2017 ». Selon eux, de nombreux projets verront le jour l’année prochaine, après avoir remporté des appels d’offres en 2015.
