Le gestionnaire du réseau de distribution d’électricité (Enedis) a publié le jeudi 8 septembre dernier, en collaboration avec RTE et le syndicat des énergies renouvelables, un nouveau panorama de la production d’électricité durable en France pour le premier semestre 2016. Cette 7ème édition présente un état des lieux à fin juin très positif. La puissance du parc de production d’électricité renouvelable s’élève en effet à plus de 44.750 MW et atteint désormais 87 % de l’objectif 2018 entériné par la Programmation pluriannuelle des investissements (PPI).
Une meilleure visibilité régionale
Si la France accuse toujours un certain retard sur ces objectifs 2020 en termes d’énergie renouvelable, les réseaux de transport et de distribution continuent d’évoluer pour permettre l’intégration de la production d’électricité renouvelable tout en garantissant la sécurité et la sûreté du système électrique, et répondre ainsi aux objectifs de la transition énergétique, de porter à 40 % la part des énergies renouvelables dans le mix électrique en 2030.
Les nouveaux schémas régionaux (S3REnR), mis en place dans toutes les régions métropolitaines, assurent pour cela une visibilité à long terme des capacités d’accueil spécifiquement réservées aux énergies renouvelables et permettent d’optimiser le développement des réseaux et de mutualiser les coûts de raccordement. Le succès de ces planifications ne se dément pas et plusieurs régions dont la Champagne-Ardenne ont déjà dû revoir leurs ambitions à la hausse.

Résultat, le 2ème trimestre 2016 enregistre sur le plan national la plus forte progression de raccordement trimestriel depuis 4 ans, avec 728 MW raccordés. Sur une année glissante, 2.140 MW, répartis à 90 % sur les filières éolienne et solaire, ont été raccordés. De son côté, la production de l’hydroélectricité, exceptionnelle au printemps, a permis aux énergies renouvelables de représenter 26 % de la consommation d’électricité en France au cours du deuxième trimestre.
Des raccordements en légère hausse dans toutes les filières
Avec 19,2 TWh, la production d’électricité hydraulique au deuxième trimestre 2016 a progressé de 15,5 % par rapport à la même période de l’année précédente en raison de conditions pluviométriques exceptionnelles. Le parc hydraulique français, d’une puissance cumulée stable de 25.468 MW, a couvert 18 % de l’électricité consommée au deuxième trimestre contre 12 % en 2015.
Mais la filière hydroélectrique n’est pas la seule à bénéficier d’une conjoncture favorable. Le parc éolien français a atteint fin juin 10.847 MW, avec 383 MW supplémentaires raccordés durant le deuxième trimestre. Grâce à une production de 23 TWh, en augmentation de 27 % par rapport à 2015, l’énergie éolienne couvre désormais 4,9 % de la consommation électrique française et atteint 72 % des objectifs fixés à la filière par la PPI à l’horizon 2018.
De leur côté, les installations solaires photovoltaïques cumulent aujourd’hui 6.547 MW de puissance, avec 168 MW raccordés durant le deuxième trimestre. Ces chiffres traduisent toutefois un léger un ralentissement par rapport à l’année précédente (-10 %) lié à l’absence de régularité des appels d’offres passés. Avec une production de 7,7 TWh, en augmentation de plus de 16 % par rapport aux douze mois précédents, l’énergie solaire photovoltaïque représente 1,6 % de la consommation, mais n’atteint pour le moment que 64 % des objectifs fixés à la filière pour 2018.

Le parc de la filière bioénergies électriques s’élève quant à lui à 1.888 MW, avec 158 MW supplémentaires raccordés durant le deuxième trimestre. Sa production de 6,4 TWh a augmenté de 11 % par rapport à l’année précédente, et permet à la filière bioénergies de couvrir 1,35 % de la consommation électrique française.
