Suite à une plainte déposée par le syndicat CFE-CGC pour « fausse information et tromperie », le parquet financier a ouvert une enquête sur le groupe Areva. Il devra notamment déterminer si, au moment de proposer un plan d’épargne en actions à ses salariés, la direction de l’entreprise avait ou non connaissance de l’étendue des déboires du groupe.

Dans une brochure intitulée «Toutes nos énergies en actions» et publiée en 2013, Luc Oursel assurait être « confiant dans la capacité d’AREVA à générer une croissance rentable, responsable et pérenne ». Le document évoquait alors « un chiffre d’affaires attendu en croissance de +5 % à +8 %/an dans le nucléaire sur la période 2015-2016 ».

Suite à cette communication, plus de 14 000 salariés sur les 46 500 collaborateurs du groupe avaient décidé d’investir près de 30 millions d’euros dans le capital de leur entreprise. Finalement, le plan stratégique Action 2016 se révèlera être un échec complet puisqu’en 2015, la firme affiche « une perte abyssale de 5 milliards d’euros sur l’exercice précédent ». C’est pourquoi, le coordinateur syndical CFE-CGC du Groupe AREVA, Cyrille Vincent, a estimé sur Twitter que les « salariés actionnaires d’AREVA [ont été] trompés jusqu’au départ de son ancien président », annoncé le 20 octobre 2014.

Dans ce contexte, Cyril Cambon, l’avocat  qui représente « près de 300 salariés, anciens salariés ou retraités d’Areva », a lancé une procédure auprès du parquet financier. Il revient désormais à ce dernier de décider s’il y a matière à renvoyer l’ancien champion du nucléaire devant un tribunal correctionnel, auquel cas, prévient l’avocat, « nous déposerions une nouvelle plainte avec constitution de partie civile, afin d’obtenir la nomination d’un juge d’instruction ».

En attendant cette décision, les petits actionnaires se sentent floués. Parmi eux, Denis Forat fulmine dans Le Parisien : « Cinq milliards de pertes, ça n’apparaît pas en un temps aussi court (…) J’ai l’impression de m’être fait manipuler ». Pour mémoire, Luc Oursel est décédé en 2014 tandis qu’Anne Lauvergeon a été mise en examen au mois de mai dernier, après « le désastre d’Uramin [qui] aura coûté près de 3 milliards d’euros » selon Paris Match.
